The molecular formula is C12H15NO with the nominal mass at 189.25. 5-apdb is a white powder with 99.3% to 99.6% purity. 5-MAPB is used in research. However, since the compound is a new more research is needed to determine the advantages as well as disadvantages of the chemical. Studies of the chemical are associated with other studies that have performed on 5-APB as well as other chemicals in the benzofuran family but the data has not been released at this time.
